In 2015, 188 countries voluntarily committed themselves to plans to curb emissions. These targets will probably be missed. The world's climate goals are not sufficient. They are also likely to be unmet.
Our collective stupidity, greed, and fecklessness are guaranteeing a rise of 3 to 4 degrees C by 2100 above pre-industrial levels. A catastrophe.
