A falling birth rate is a good thing. Just as long as it doesn't fall too rapidly. And governments will have to find a way to keep old age pensioners working part-time to help reduce the burden on society of a falling percentage of young people combined with a rising percentage of old people. And don't tell me ageism doesn't exist--I've encountered myself time and again.
