Somehow it isn't the done thing to talk about climate change when a disaster strikes. It's "politicising" it. It's "taking advantage" of the situation.
After hurricane Harvey produced extraordinary floods and rainfall in Texas, now hurricane Irma is heading towards southern Florida, which already floods just from mild high tides. Let's hope Irma veers away and misses Miami. In the meantime, shouldn't we start to take climate change seriously?
