From the Tucson Sentinel. Fascinating and instructive. For example, I was surprised to learn that only property owners had the vote in the early years of the republic. The founding fathers were happy enough to break their links with the monarchy, but didn't want to let hoi polloi have a say. How ironic!
Note how over the last couple of decades, the Right has systematically reduced voting rights. Surprise.
