No wonder EU emissions are falling so fast, with a carbon price of EU45/tonne (US$54, A$75). Even without a carbon price, coal is more expensive than wind and solar. With it, coal is clearly finished. Meanwhile, the EU is going to start applying a carbon border tax to all imports from countries which currently don't have a carbon price.
