Despite a rebound in China after lockdown was eased, my GDP-weighted average of the extreme-adjusted PMIs of the big 8 economies/regions fell again in June. A global recession in 2023 seems very likely. How deep it will be remains to be seen, but I think it could be much deeper than the consensus now is.
