To be clear, these are the new calcs, where I have estimated the latest couple of months of IP for some economies using the PMI concerned. We'll see whether these estimates are realistic.
So far, not yet a global recession, though some individual countries, especially in Europe, seem to be entering a recession.
I remain convinced that there will be a recession in the US, Europe and many countries in the rest of the world this year, lasting into next year. The rebound in services has delayed this, so I've been wrong so far. I could continue to be wrong. We'll see!
