Every year, Australia's right-wing government projects that future coal production will rise. For the first time, they're forecasting a fall (from the 2019 peak). If they're overoptimistic again, coal production will have peaked and will be in a declining trend. This is not because of an absence of supply -- there's plenty of coal in Australia -- but because demand has prolly peaked.
