US starts to turn down again?

Too many states (mostly controlled by Republicans) opened up too soon, with the result that new coronavirus cases are surging again.  Even without an official lockdown, a surge in new cases was likely to lead to people shunning restaurants and bars.  Which is what appears to now be happening in Texas, Florida  and Arizona.

There is not going to be a v-shaped recovery.  Everybody's optimism is seriously misplaced.
