Yep. Definitely a recession.

I talked about them before here.  This is another chart compared to an easily calculated indicator of the US economy and my composite index of housing starts and auto sales, both of which tend to lead the cycle.   The index leads the cycle by much longer at peaks than at troughs.  It seems clear to me that we're looking at a potential recession in the USA.
