Real oil price

In economics, the "real" price of something is its nominal price deflated by a general price index, for example, a CPI.

In real terms, the deflated (real) oil price fits well with world industrial production (my calculation).  If world industrial production has peaked, and it probably has, then the real oil price has peaked and will fall from here.
