A yearly salary of €37,000 puts you in the top 10% of global earners, a six-figure salary pushes you into the top 1%. The column on wealth is striking: €125,000 puts you in the top 10%, €807,000 in the top 1%, which means a ton of "middle-class" home-owners in a country like the uk are wealthier than 99% of people on the planet. it also means a lot of people in my age bracket will be in the top 10% of earners but not the top 10% of owners.
