From the horse's mouth, almost
This is from a presentation Elon Musk gave in Flint (Michigan) at a school where he gave away laptops to all students who turned up, encouraging them to learn science. He's also given a few hundred thousand to the community to replace their lead pipes.
It's the first 'official' view of the new stainless steel BFS/Starship. Note that the triangular windows in the nose cone observation room are back, in line with earlier versions of the BFS. The top picture shows travellers floating in zero-G over what looks like the Moon. The other shows Starship in its approach to Mars.
I've seen a few other snippets of SpaceX's official renderings of the new stainless steel Starship. Here's one from Cloudlicker, showing Starship's door open looking out over Mars Base Alpha, at sunset. Inspiring. Incidentally, Musk has said that development on Starship is happening four times faster than it was on the Falcon 9. 2025, anyone?
When I have more I'll share them with you.
